How: Leveraged Placer.ai to track guest habits and location data, analyzed social and website data, and assessed in-restaurant guest purchases.
Why: Using this data, I developed criteria to define our target demographic, focusing on age, lifestyle preferences, and spending habits.
Applied: We validated the demographics by cross-referencing with industry benchmarks and testing them through small-scale campaigns. By integrating these insights, I crafted a strategy and defined a realistic target demographic and guest profile.
Results: Through these efforts, I increased Instagram followership among the key demographic by 10% and TikTok followers by 25%. Compared to the industry average growth rate of 5% for social media followership, our results indicate a significant improvement in engagement. To ensure accurate attribution of these achievements, we conducted A/B testing and time-series analysis to isolate the campaign’s impact from external factors. Happy Hour sales rose by 2%, aligning with the standard growth rate typically observed in similar promotional programs. Additionally, we monitored sales during targeted time frames and controlled regions to confirm this uplift was due to the campaign. Website traffic on pages featuring Happy Hour increased by 1% in the previous quarter, surpassing the current quarter’s growth. This demonstrates the campaign’s effectiveness in attracting and engaging our target audience.
